Russia has indeed offered India joint production of the Su-57 and Su-75 fighter jets. This offer has been made as Russia seeks to deepen its defense ties with India and promote its latest generation of fighter aircraft.   The Su-57 is Russia's fifth-generation stealth fighter, while the Su-75 is a light, fifth-generation fighter currently under development. Russia is actively marketing both aircraft for export, and India is seen as a key potential customer.   The offer includes not only the supply of assembled aircraft but also the establishment of joint production facilities in India, along with technology transfer and assistance in developing India's own indigenous fifth-generation fighter.
