You need to be able to validate the idea with data to reduce your risk. You can do this by looking for a product that has many keywords with high search volume. The more high search volume keywords you find for the same product, the easier it will be to beat the competition. It is very important to research the correct keywords that you'll need to rank for to show up in front of the right customers. It is also important to understand which keywords are more important than others, and which should show up more (and where) in your listing. 14:00 - PPC Launch Strategy Keyword Research METHOD #3 This is one of the strategies I use to launch PPC campaigns for new Amazon FBA products for my clients & for my own products. Find those keywords using Cerebro. You can do that as Cerebro shows you which keywords you are ranking for and what your position is for that keyword. 20:36 - Brand PPC Targeting METHOD #5 Protecting your own brand name keywords is very important to keep from losing sales to your competitors. Helium 10's Cerebro can help you find which brand name keywords you have previously converted for & which brand name keywords customers have searched on Amazon + the search volume. 23:45 - Bottom Page 1 & Top Page 2 Push METHOD #6 This is where it starts to get fun. Use cerebro to find which keywords you are ranking for on the bottom of page 1 & top of page 2. Those are keywords that your Amazon listing has converted for in the past which is the reason you are ranking page 1/2. Now target those keywords with PPC campaigns and push them with EXACT targeting to get them to top of page 1 & increase your sales. You are SO CLOSE to page 1, so give it that push and start making more money! 27:07 - Compare Rank With Competitors METHOD #7 Same as above, but now compare your ranking with your top competitor's and see where you are slacking. Push those keywords with some PPC campaigns as well. 31:03 - Top Converting Competitors Keywords METHOD #8 Also similar to earlier, but even better. Download your PPC search term reports, find your automatic campaigns data, find the ASIN (competitors) from which you have gotten the most sales. Now take those ASINs & run them in Cerebro & find their top keywords. If you customers chose your product over that competitors from their detail page, then they should probably choose your listing over theirs from those keywords as well! Run those keywords in a PPC Campaign :) 33:59 - Cerebro Longtail Keyword Research METHOD #9 Longtail keywords often convert at a LOWER ACOS with PPC. That means more profits. So definitely look for them and run ads with them. 12:37 - Cerebro Low Search Volume Keyword Research METHOD #10 Similar to longtail keywords, low search volume keywords can be more profitable AND you can rank on page 1 MUCH easier because you need less conversion to jump in rank.
