Which is why, in this episode, we'll delve into the AWESOME 30 Rock, to see what we can learn to make our comedy writing a little bit easier! We'll break down how character, structure and plot FEED comedy writing potential in sitcom writing. Using sitcom as an example of how to write comedy, offers great writing advice - in keeping dialogue tight and, most importantly, understanding that comedy must come from the right place! It's not enough to just write jokes or quirky, sarcastic comebacks for your characters, when you truly understand how to write comedy you'll understand that jokes come from the character's personality and motivations.
