Rights groups, MPs and celebrities gathered outside the Royal Courts of Justice on Tuesday to support legal organisations Al-Haq and GLAN (Global Legal Action Network) in their case against the UK government's export of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel. 15 percent of Israel's F-35 parts are supplied by the UK, and were exempted from the government's suspension of over 30 arms export licences to Israel in September 2024. Advocacy groups, MPs and rights activists all called on the UK government to halt arms exports to Israel until it agreed to end its war on Gaza, allow aid into the besieged strip, and work toward a Palestinian state.
