Here is a few facts you should know before flying the Heron: #Fact 1: (undocumented) First time power on the Heron (undocumented): Short press the power button (the back two LED light up GREEN and off) and long press the power button (the front two red LED and the back two green LED light up and flashing); Otherwise, Heron will not power up. It took me half hour to figure it out. I thought the Heron is DOA. #Fact 2: (not clearly documented) Power on the Heron and power on the remote control within a few seconds. They are auto-binding. And ready to fly non-GPS mode by pressing the mode key (“M”) on the hard-remote. #Fact 3: (undocumented) Put your mobile phone into the airplane mode before flying; otherwise, the FPV video quality will be crappy.
