Contrary to many of my friends and colleagues (or partners in crime), several of whom have won the same recognitions as me, I admit my mistakes so that we can all learn from them. In my talk I will present the key findings, so that others can perform better and climate change finally be halted. I am a failure in communication. After having lectured on climate change to hundreds of audiences around the world, including several parliaments and the UN climate negotiations, I am ashamed to say that the problem is far from solved. Indeed, my several years in politics, lobbying and with funding renewable energy, has yielded the same poor results.
