Universal Studios Japan is just a short train ride from Osaka. Some of the park is similar to the Universal theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood, and there are some exclusive rides, including Flying Dinosaur and Hollywood Dream. Plus, the Jaws ride is still open at USJ - a treat for Jaws fans! We visited the park on a weekend at the start of March 2024 (the end of the off-season). Even so, the queues for rides and food were very long. We had express passes, which are expensive, but made it possible to do everything we wanted to in one day, when we couldn't get there early.
