HOWICK - KZN The coastline was starting to get busy for the festive season and campsite prices shot-up. As a result, we decided to head inland toward Howick to do a stem cell donor recruitment drive at the Karkloof Farmers' Market. We found ourselves the best spot to camp-out and get prepped for the busy weeks ahead. The Bushwillow Park was the perfect spot with a lush backdrop and beautiful views at a very affordable rate. One of our favorite campsites on the trip so far! It gave us a gap from civilization and we could use the time to make stock, do maintenance and get our boots muddy. We realised that the age demographic in Howick presented a serious challenge in signing up donors and made the move to the beautiful town of Clarens!
