For the third time this month, a winter storm is expected to bring snow to large portions of North Carolina and South Carolina. A Nor'easter is expected to form this week over the Carolinas before bringing large amounts of snow accumulations to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. In the Carolinas, cities including Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Hickory, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Rocky Mount, and Elizabeth City could see some snow. How much snow could North Carolina or South Carolina expect to see? The Carolina Weather Group's Jared Smith in Charleston, and Scotty Powell in Morganton, NC explain the forecast.
