Pinterest:   / secretsintheove   Ingredients: • 2kg/4.4 lb Acacia Flowers • 3l/101 oz Water • 2kg/10 cups Granulated Sugar Step 1 Start by removing the flowers from the stems by simply plucking them off with your fingers. Step 2 The next step is to clean the flowers by soaking them in cold water and let them rest for few minutes to remove the dust and insects. Remove them from the water and add them on a colander and place them under some jets of water to clean them better. Step 3 Meanwhile boil 3l/101 oz of water in a large deep pot and then we will add the flowers. Using a wooden spoon, press the flowers in order to infuse them well and let them boil for 20 minutes. Cover and let it rest at room temperature for 24 hours for our syrup to have an intense acacia flower flavor. Step 4 Next day, strain the flowers to separate them from the liquid. Then, strain the liquid again to make sure you remove the remaining impurities. In the same large deep pot where we prepared the acacia flower tea, we will mix the sugar with 1l/33 oz of infusion. Stir continuously and let it boil for 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid has a brown color. Add the remaining acacia flower infusion and let it boil until the liquid drops to half. Step 5 Transfer the syrup to glass bottles and chill. Serve 2 tablespoons of acacia syrup in 400ml/13oz sparkling or still water and serve it as a natural juice! Bon Appetite! #acaciasyrup #acaciaflowerjuice #acaciaflowersyrup
