Jobs are important to a strong housing market. People need jobs in order to pay rent, pay mortgages, and take care of their families. Rent tracker stats show that there’s not much difference between now and this time last year in terms of rent being paid -- but that could all change. You see, in the past two weeks, my confidence in the housing market has taken a bit of a blow due to the record-breaking number of executive actions Biden has signed. By the end of his ninth day in the White House, the new president has signed 40 executive actions. That's eight times more than Donald Trump signed. The reason why this could mean a 2021 housing market crash is because these executive actions are job-killers. And if enough people don’t have jobs, we could face a housing crisis.
