Hey, let me share with you how I created an art journal from scratch! This is my very first junk journal I have ever made to use as an art journal. This video is a flip through of my handmade junk journal, I wanted to walk you through the pages and the materials and techniques I used. I'm hoping to help with some shared experience and thoughts from a newbie 😇 This junk journal is inspired by a journal making course by @amitybloom I took and it is by far the most challenging and inspiring crafting project I have ever taken on. I loved making my own art journal like this, I got too use all the collage, stencil, embossing, die cut, sewing and junk journal techniques I like and I feel I created something which is very special to me. It is the first time I used a sewing machine in my life as well! I love how sewing looks in junk journals and other crafting projects and I am so happy to have my own sewing machine to play with now. It has been quite the learning curve for me and I am still learning but I love the process so much that I can tell from now I will be sticking to it and hopefully that helps me learn faster :) I have many ideas for crafting projects to make ephemera for this junk journal book so SUBSCRIBE to stay tuned if you like watching this kind of videos.
