A guide for creating a RL168 Hexer build for PvP in EldenRing. Follow this guide to create an optimized INT + FAITH build that can utilize several schools of sorcery along with the Rosus Axe to great effect for online multiplayer in Elden Ring. - Description - Vigor: 56 Mind: 30 Endurance: 24 Strength: 18 Dexterity: 13 Intelligence: 80 Faith: 19 (+5) Arcane: 7 Starting Class: Vagabond Talismans: Graven Mass Talisman, Radagon’s Icon, Alexander’s Shard, Two-Finger’s Heirloom Wonderous Physick: Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear, Crimson Bubbletear - Notes - This build is based around “dark” themed sorceries, or “hexes” as they were called in previous Dark Souls titles. Since we don’t have any dark damage type, these spells were chosen based on their aesthetic. This build is centered on the Briar Sorceries as the core spells, because they’re incredibly strong and effective for dealing with gankers (and definitely fit the Hexer theme). Rosus’ Axe is a weapon I’ve been interested in using before. I simply didn’t have the stats to use this weapon on my Necromancer build, but found good use of it here. The weapon art scales with Intelligence and is boosted further by Alexander’s Shard and the Magic-Shrouding Tear, and is a reliable version of the Tibias Summons spell for close range. I am still learning the ways the spells can syncronize. Some of the most useful information I can provide here is that Rykard's Rancor can be used to mask your actions very effectively. You can pair this with Tibia's Summons or Briars of Punishment to great effect. Fire's Deadly Sin can also be used to force rolls for easy rollcatching. In short, this build is ridiculously strong.
