In this video, I want to walk you through the new Macbook Pro from a graphic designer's perspective. Is the 2018 Macbook Pro worth the money, and is it a good laptop for graphic design? ⏩ Submit a question in the form below for me to answer on YouTube ( http://bit.ly/2KGVwK4 ) ► 2018 Macbook Pro 2.6 GHz ( https://geni.us/Pro15-i7 ) ► 2018 Macbook Pro 2.9 GHz ( https://geni.us/Pro15-i9 ) ► Samsung External Solid State Hard Drives ( https://geni.us/T5PortableSSD ) -- More Videos to Help You Out! -- ► Top 5 Best Budget Laptops for Graphic Design ( http://bit.ly/2yjDM6u ) ► Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer (    • A Day in My Life As a Graphic Designer   ) The 2018 Macbook Pro was recently released. I have been anticipating this release for the past few months hoping to see some improvements in the performance of the Macbook Pro. For the past two years I have noticed very little improvement in the Macbook Pro for 2016 and 2017, so I was anxious to see what the 2018 iteration would bring. When it comes to the 2017 Macbook Pro Vs the 2018 I must say they have made some improvements. The improvements are not earth shattering but they are improvements none the less. It is important that we look at a few key aspects of the New 2018 Macbook Pro in order to make sure that this is a laptop that will be well equipped for your Graphic Design needs. In this it is my goal to answer the following thoughts: Should you buy the 2018 Macbook Pro 2018 Macbook Pro for Graphic Designers Graphic Designers Review of the New 2018 Macbook Pro 2018 Macbook Pro Good for Graphic Design 2017 Macbook Pro Vs 2018 Macbook Pro Graphic Designers Perspective of the 2018 Macbook Pro The Hardware upgrades. The first thing I want to talk about in my graphic designers review of the new Macbook Pro is the hardward upgrades. FINALLY Apple has given us what we have been asking for over the past two years. Relevant Hardware. The new 2018 Macbook Pro features the following updates and options: 16GB - 32GB of DDR4 RAM i7 8th Gen - i9 Intel Processor Radeon Pro 560X GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 Memory BEASTLY fast SSD that can transfer around 2+GB per second! Ok, so there are the technical specifications of the new Macbook Poo. Now let's talk about what all that means for you as a graphic designer. First I want to start with the three specs that matter the most to graphic designers. The RAM memory is used to run your programs and workflow on your laptop while you are doing your graphic design thing. So is the 2018 Macbook Pro any better the the 2017 Macbook Pro? Alright now this is a simple and straight forward upgrade. Apple has configured the new Macbook Pro with extremely fast SSD storage. The new SSD is showing incredible tests results within the new Macbook Pro with nearly 3GB of file transfer per second. That is insane. So yeah, it's fast and powerful. That is all there is to it! Oh my Controversy! Tech reviewers, YouTubers, and Keyboard happy comment sections are going NUTZ about the i9 in the 2018 Macbook Pro. With all this HEAT (no pun intended) we have to wonder if it wasn't on purpose. :-P Ok, It probably wasn't but it's worth a thought, eh? What do we know, and what does it matter for graphic designers. Well first and for most I only think you should Geek out about the i9 if you are into video editing. Graphic designers have been seeing great performance and workflow out of the i5 and i7 processors for years. 2. Using the 2018 Macbook Pro Now that we know about the specs and hardware within the Macbook Pro 2018 let's have a conversation about using this laptop as a graphic designer. You will have an amazing experience behind the screen of this the 2018 Macbook Pro, but do note that it is not guaranteed for color accuracy. If you want a color accurate screen you will have to pick up a 4k Adobe RGB screen within computers like the Dell XPS 15 or the Razer Blade Overall I think this is an excellent buy for any Professional or even student graphic designer that wants a laptop that will run extremely well and last them years to come. If it is in your budget go for it. ------- Support My Channel With Patreon! ►►► (   / bengkaiser   ) SOCIAL Twitter ► @bengkaiser Facebook ►/bengkaiser Instagram ►@bengkaiser WHERE I LEARN: (affiliate links) Lynda.com ► http://bit.ly/2rQB2u4 Envato ► http://bit.ly/2CSoROx edX.org ► http://fxo.co/4y00 MY FAVORITE GEAR: (affiliate links) Camera ► http://amzn.to/2BWvE9o CamStand ► http://amzn.to/2BWsv9M Compute ► http://amzn.to/2zPeLvs Mouse ► http://amzn.to/2C0T9hq TubeBuddy ► https://www.tubebuddy.com/bengkaiser Host Gator ► http://bit.ly/2CBonPO ( Get 60% off Website Hosting with the link ) DISCLAIMER: ALL LINKS IN DESCRIPTION ARE AFFILIATE LINKS Thanks for Supporting Our Channel!
