[공조]의 힙한 일렉트로닉 사운드의 기조는 여전히 유지하고 있다. 또한 메인 테마인 「공조2」와 「NEW SIREN」은 [공조]에서의 테마를 셀프 오마쥬하면서도 더욱 감칠맛 나게 베리에이션 하였다. 6년 전 [공조]의 흥행 포인트와 Tone & Manner를 안전하게 유지하면서도 더욱 커진 스케일과 재미를 천명하고 있으니 매우 영리한 선택임이 확실하다. 특히 락 또는 블루스 스타일 밴드음악의 ‘공조’에 의해, 더욱 세련되고 풍성해진 스코어들을 선보이고 있으며 중독성 있고 감칠맛 나는 리프들은 관객의 다리를 절로 들썩이게 만들기 충분하다. 그러면서도 영화의 특성상, 코미디 씬으로의 전환에서 자칫 전체 흐름을 흐트러지게 하기 쉬운데 황상준 음악감독의 선택과 변용은 그 지점을 정확히 이해하며 조절하고 있다. 공조2: 인터내셔날 OST ! 바다낚시처럼 - 극에 후킹hooking된 관객이라는 대어를 실패 없이 낚아 올리려면 릴 플레이 테크닉이 중요할진대 황상준 음악 감독과 그가 이끄는 ‘리딩톤’의 아티스트들은 자신들이 얼마나 노련한 낚시꾼들인지 이번 작품에서 다시 한번 증명해 내고 있다.
