Narumi (Nagasawa Masami ) is bewildered by the behavior of her husband Shinji (Matsuda Ryuhei), who disappeared for a few days and has come back a changed person. Meanwhile, a family is brutally murdered in their neighborhood. Journalist Sakurai (Hasegawa Hiroki) meets a young man named Amano (Takasugi Mahiro) while investigating the story and goes on a search for high school girl Tachibana Akira (Tsunematsu Yuri), who holds the key to explaining the murders.
