The sequel to Titanfall (2014), the game was released in October 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The plot focuses on a infantry soldier named Jack Cooper, who aspires to be a pilot of a Titan, which are large mechas used for war. Titanfall 2 was released to very positive reviews from critics. Praise has been given to the game's addition to a deeper single-player campaign, multiplayer and gameplay, with many critics agreeing it to be a large improvement over its predecessor.
