Hi, welcome to Electric Car Australia's latest EV video looking at why the recently installed Stanthorpe Queensland Electric Super Highway (QESH) is so important AND the painful reality of reliability of non Tesla public charging stations. The Stanthorpe EV charging site featuring a single Tritium 75kW RTM DC rapid charger and a Siemens 22kW AC Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) twin outlet stand. In the educational EV video I provide a run down on how to use both the AC and DC chargers at this QESH EV charging site and also demonstrate a first hand frustration non Tesla EV owners often have using public EV charge networks instead of the Tesla Super Charger network, the most reliable in the world at approx. 99.2% uptime. I also talk through the location of this DC rapid charger site as perfectly filling a gap between the Warwick DC rapid charger on the Darling Downs and the Tenterfield DC rapid chargers on the Northern Tableland's of NSW.
