Weekend Trip to Uluru! 🇦🇺 (Australian Outback adventures continued!)

Our quick weekend trip to Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock) in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park! In today's vlog we drive from Alice Springs all of the way to Uluru. We stayed at the Ayers Rock Campground in Yulara and got a terrible night of sleep. We woke up early to catch the legendary Uluru sunrise, hiked around the base of Uluru, visited the Valley of the Winds and Walpa Gorge, and finish off our trip enjoying Kata Tjuta (also known as "the Olgas"). Not wanting to repeat our rough night of trying to sleep in the desert and with the trails closed early, we decided to drive back to Alice Springs the same day. On the way back home we stopped by the Erldunda Roadhouse to eat lunch at their Emu Farm and stayed just ahead of a bad storm that ended up flooding the roads!
