In this video, we are going to show you how to add a back-to-top button in wordpress. If your theme does not have that one already integrated, you can do that with WPFront Scroll Top plugin. Install it and after activating, it automatically redirects to a settings page. There we will enable the button and review some of its many options. We can change after how many pixels scrolled the button to appear, change the button size, we can disable the button on smaller devices, in this example I will disable the button on devices smaller than 800px, but I don’t really want that and I will uncheck this. Now the most important thing: we can display the back-to-top button as an image, text, or font awesome icon. The plugin already has many predefined images and I find them very useful. We can try our changes directly in the WP dashboard. The second option is to use text: trying that with “BACK TO TOP” text and the button looks better than expected. Also, the colors are changeable. The last option is to use font awesome icon. We are going to try this with the code that is given as an example.
