Niyat here with film comics explained, and as voted for by everyone in the latest poll, today we’ll be exploring Sleepy Hollow, the 1999 Gothic supernatural horror directed by Tim Burton, loosely based on Washington Irving’s 1820 short story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. Starring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Christopher Walken, Michael Gambon, Miranda Richardson, Casper Van Dien, Christopher Lee, Richard Griffiths, Jeffrey Jones, Michael Gough and Ian McDiarmid (in what many term the Burton Wrangle) it follows the exploits of Ichabod Crane, a police constable from New York City. After being sent to investigate a number of weird murders attributed to a Headless Horseman in the Dutch hamlet of Sleepy Hollow, Crane’s powers of deduction are put to the ultimate test.
