Hello friends and thanks for clicking back in to Clevver News! Miley Cyrus looks simply gorgeous on the September 2012 issue of Marie Claire magazine. The 19-year-old posed for the mag just HOURS after news of her engagement to Liam Hemsworth was announced -- so it seems perfectly normal that she was super excited to chat about it. Miley opened up about her sparkler, saying that she had no input on picking out the 3.5 karat ring my Neil Lane. She said QUOTE "I had no input. We'd been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold. I just love that it's old and has a story. And I'm happy because it doesn't look like anything else I wear." Cyrus also gave her fans some insight into her relationship with Liam, saying "Liam and I have a really good relationship . . . neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other." And, while many gave Miley a hard time for getting engaged at such a young age -- she not only defended herself, but made a pretty darn good point. She said QUOTE ""Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with. I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement." Miley's issue of Marie Claire hits shelves on August 17th.
