Welcome to Alghero the little seaside village in Sardinia. We are going to do the top five things to do in this region and we're going to bring you along with us. Let's go check it out. Number one on our list of things to do Alghero is to take a local cooking class. We booked ours through Curioseety, which will link below. Pasta is without a doubt Grace's favorite food, so I thought I should up skill myself and learn how to make some delicious fresh pasta. This class was so much fun, drinking wine and learning from our amazing teacher. My favorite part was trying to master the tricky finger techniques to create the different shapes of pasta, but I definitely need some more practice. After all our hard work we got to eat our own creation of pesto pasta and ravioli at the end. Our number two recommended thing to do here is to go to a wine Resort. We've come to Vineyard Ledà d'Ittiri and it is so so stunning, we've just ordered some wines to taste so excited. This one's called vent which means that we wind in the local tongue, you'll like it similar to the ones you were drinking the other day that you liked but weren't really my jam. Having a vermentino which is a specialty of the region and Sardinia, so nice so fruity... yum. After tasting some super delicious wines we went for a little walk around exploring the stunning estate and lush vineyards. This was the perfect spot to soak in the afternoon sun, we even snagged a special bottle of red to bring back home with us. Number three on our list is to walk through the adorable streets of the Old Town in Alghero. We're walking the old town of Alghero and it is so freaking cute, it's like a cross between a rural little town and a seaside village, it is gorgeous. We chose to stay in the Old Town and certainly didn't regret our decision. These narrow streets are mostly car free and are super cute, lined with little boutique stores. We love strolling around and getting lost in the streets even stumbling upon the lovely Alghero Cathedral. Whenever we got tired of exploring though there was a restaurant or bar nearby ready to serve us an aperol spritz. Number four on the list is to visit a beach club, we went to Riservato which was amazing but got a little bit sun burnt. Such a peaceful way to spend a few hours on this beautiful coastline. But definitely cream up because it is a harsh sun. This small beach club was the perfect spot to soak in the view and sun tan away the afternoon. The unique rock shelf was a little bit tricky and sharp when going for swims but when you're drinking cocktails and beers in the Sardinian sun there isn't much to complain about. Number five on the top things to do here in Alghero is to eat some of the local Italian food and local foods of the region. We're here at Trattoria Da Mirko to start off our little taste sensation....cont.
