We are called to pray for our cities and nations, they are our responsibility. 2 Chronicles 7: 14 is a well known verse and a call from God to pray, that He might heal our land: “ If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” God longs to heal and restore what is broken and in need, and is calling us to pray from a place of abiding in Him.
