Great stuff here by Sub Sub, who would years later end up as Doves because of a studio fire that destroyed most of their gear. I've never been able to track down a master tape copy of this tune and for some odd reason, I've never heard a really clean copy of the vinyl either - pressing flaw perhaps? Needless to say, I spent over a week cleaning the pops and clicks from my "dirty" copy and what you have here is the end result. Equipment used: Turntable - Technics SL 1200-MK2 Cartdrige - Ortofon X5-MC Phono Preamplifier - Yamaha RX-596 Audio Interface - Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 Recording Software - Sonic Foundry (Sony) Sound Forge Pro 11.0 Record / Upload - 16 bit, 44.1 kHz Pops and clicks removed manually in Sound Forge as well as through the careful use of ClickRepair (beginnings and endings only).
