Children’s author Roald Dahl has been the subject of much controversy since his death in 1990. After a near-fatal crash, Roald began suffering headaches that prevented him from flying. Because of this, the British government had to find a new job for their soldier. In 1942, they sent Roald overseas to start lecturing American citizens about becoming involved in the war. The British, on the other hand, were closer in distance to Germany and could see the full threat of Adolph Hitler and his Third Reich. The British created a secret organization tasked with influencing the American government to join the war. To achieve this goal, they used propaganda and spies. One of the spies and propagandists that the BSC used in America was Roald Dahl. Roald proved incredibly effective to the BSC due to his creative skills, which allowed him to create effective propaganda. However, he also dabbled in numerous sexual liaisons as a spy, making him an unlikely real-life James Bond.
