Uncovering the Secrets of the Battlefield of Waterloo: 2022 Museum Tour

This is a live video recording from Waterloo, Belgium. It was filmed on August 29th, 2022. This was the site of the "Battle of Waterloo" (18 June 1815) The Battle of Waterloo was fought on 18 June 1815 between Napoleon's French Army of 72k and a coalition of 113k led by the Duke of Wellington. The decisive battle of its age, it concluded a war that had raged for 23 years, ended French attempts to dominate Europe, and destroyed Napoleon's imperial power forever. I read some of the static display descriptions during the tour. After the inside museum tour I walk to the top of the "memorial to the battle of waterloo" which was built in 1820-1826 and called "The Lion's Mound" because the Duke of Wellington was AKA the "Lion of Waterloo". The mound was 226 steps to the top and during that windy day it was hard to talk. I did a little bit of narration from the top of the lion's mound.
