In this All Sports History video we'll look back at the Baltimore Colts relocation in the middle of the night to Indianapolis. In today’s video we’ll take a look back at how one owner’s (Robert Irsay) quest for a new stadium (replacing the aging Memorial Stadium), and the fight that ensued, led to one of the most infamous moves in NFL history. We'll also look back at some Baltimore Colts highlights throughout their history, like the how the team name came to be and how team's history can be traced back to two different franchises. Then we'll go through championship years between the late 1950's and early 1970's. With matchups featuring Baltimore Colts vs New York Giants 1958, Baltimore Colts vs Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl, and the Baltimore Colts vs Oakland Raiders 1977. Finally, we'll see how Baltimore managed to gain a new team the Baltimore Ravens, and how legendary quarterback Johnny Unitas broke all ties with the Colts.
