Dr. Shai Shen-Orr: Human Immune Monitoring Coming of Age
Shai Shen-Orr, Ph.D. is a Professor at Technion’s Faculty of Medicine, working in the fields of computational biology, systems immunology and precision medicine. He has been developing machine learning approaches to study the drivers of immune variation, particularly in the context of aging, and to further immune-based precision medicine. Dr. Shen-Orr is co-director of Tech.AI, Technion’s center for AI, and heads Tech.AI.BioMed and the Zimin Institute for AI solutions in healthcare. He is founder and chief scientist of CytoReason, a tech company transforming medicine and drug development from trial-and-error to a predictable practice, using computational modeling of human diseases. The Immunome Lab Meeting, presented by the Human Immunome Project, brings together the leading experts in the fields of AI and human immunology who are working on decoding the mysteries of immunity in an effort to revolutionize how we diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. This monthly Zoom webinar is open to everyone; registration is not required to join. Each session will comprise a 30-minute presentation from our speaker, followed by a moderated Q&A session.
