A common root issue when it comes to mental health and emotional health has to do with relationship disconnection--struggling with feeling disconnected from God, from others or even from yourself. This fuels anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, mood disorders, OCD and more. I bring this up because of the importance of mental health, but also because Christians are constantly chasing a sense of disconnection with God. Even though Jesus said He would never leave or forsake us. Paul said nothing shall separate me from the love of God. Yet we are bombarded with the struggle of separation.
