Hey Listen: Deaf Rights and the Law (1989)

Jackie Schertz hosts this video series. The Honorable William H. Bristol and police officer David Stasiatis join the HEY LISTEN! audience and answers questions about the rights of deaf people in court. From finding aid guide (edited by Joan Naturale) in RIT Libraries Deaf Studies Archives: The Hey Listen! The series was produced by interpreters Arden Coulston and Elizabeth Bell Coulston and created in PCI Studios in Rochester (the studio no longer exists). Many staff and faculty members at NTID worked on the project as interpreters, floor managers, directors, hosts, etc. The tapes were later given to NTID by Frank Kruppenbacher as Jackie Schertz was the host, and Arden Coulston was a staff member along with others. https://archivesspace.rit.edu/reposit...
