Zemzemeh crafting a live, bespoke soundscape for a series of city symphony films that showcases their unique sound that draws on haunting folk and world music traditions blended with experimental, electronic imaginings that firmly plants their sound in the contemporary. The short films include: Bridges Go Round 1958, In the Street 1948, Tokyo Symphonical Sketch 1937, Människor i stad (Symphony of a City) 1947. Within these films street photographers capture cheeky kids playing in New York's East Harlem in the 1940s, meanwhile in the film Bridges Go Round the camera dances with a city skyline, and two films showcase their city with the aim to tempt tourists to their shores - pre-war Tokyo and a picturesque Stockholm on the edge of the Baltic Sea. Over the years Siyavash Doostkhah and Greta Kelly as Zemzemeh, have collaborated on a number of acoustic and electronic music projects including AmphiSonic, a sound installation for the World Science Festival, Brisbane.
