Video and illustrations by Costin Chioreanu | http://www.twilight13media.com "Hon syndrast" [translation: ‘She disintegrates’] "The most visceral chapter of ‘Támsins likam’ both musically and thematically, ‘Hon syndrast’ describes the horrific fate of the female protagonist, as seen through the eyes of her husband. After witnessing his wife being led northwards by a mysterious cloaked figure, the man decides to follow in their path. Stalking through the mountains, he encounters horrors and trials both physical and otherworldly, though his wife and her cloaked companion appear to pass unscathed. As they reach their destination – a lake in a valley illuminated by bright moonlight – the man is confronted with a violent scene: His wife and her companion are slowly ascending a jagged rock overhanging the lake. Upon reaching the top, she dives off the edge, unresponsive to her husband screams for her to stop. The mysterious figure transforms into a shadowy creature and flows like a black mist into the water, only to rise back through the surface as a barrage of razorsharp spikes. Blood, cloth, flesh and bone fill the air. Impaled and torn, she sinks into the lake. The black mist resurfaces and, upon hearing the man howling in sorrow and rage, quickly escapes into a cave under the overhanging rock. The man calms his rage, and arms himself in spirit…" "Támsins Likam" track listing: 1. Fylgisflog 2. Stygd 3. Tvístevndur Meldur 4. Frosthvarv 5. Hon Syndrast 6.
