Just received this, awesome amp in the mail, only took 2 days. So many features are accessible, you can download over 10,000 tones and play bass, acoustic or electric guitar with it. You can also, jam with the smart jam feature, or play along with songs on YouTube or Spotify, it actually shows you the cords. You can also jam with back tracks, the cloud capabilities are amazing in this thing. It also allows you to use it as a blue tooth speaker, controlling everything through your phone or IPad. In the video above I used the rock drummer and bass(smart jam), and preset 2(guitar tone), there's also options for pop and blues drummer and bass as well as any tone you want to use. You can make your own preset tones and upload them to the cloud, or download preset tones from the cloud with your phone very easily, my 4 presets so far are: 1.AIC 2.Grunge 3.STP 4.Clean Dire straits There's a ton of stuff to play to and you can sound like any song you want to , the possibilities are endless. It also allows you to manually adjust band volume and guitar volume separately, as well as gain, bass, mid, treble, master, mod, delay, reverb and out put. It also has a switch on the left for clean, glassy, crunch, high gain, with bass and acoustic mode there as well, it also has a built in tuner. I had the drums on low in the video and I found the best way to get the smart jam feature to work, is to make sure the riff you play ends when the timer ends. Don't get too complicated because once you have a basic beat down you can freestyle or what ever you want to, over it and if it sounds off, speed up your BPM, or slow it down. Make sure to choose the right drummer, play the sample beats to figure this out, it helps tremendously. Every once in a while it goes out of sync, turn unit and app on and off and it correct s itself, this barley happen s though, but like any electronic s a reset usually correct s the issue. You can also record music on your computer with it, I have yet to try this feature, but I'm assuming that it's great, because this amp is awesome. This is more of a practice amp but an awesome one. I have a seperate amp and pedals for shows but this will let you know what sound and style you like making purchasing them way easier, and also helps you prepare for playing with a band, this little amp is perfect. Don't get me wrong everyone might not like it but I love it, they did not pay me for this, I just write and perform music and have used many small amps before this one. Perfect for house play or backyards with out making the neighbors mad, if you're a musician at any level I recommend this for you. You also need to get familiar with the app, it's very easy but a little overwhelming at first because of everything you can do. Just look at other videos s that dive in to the app, once you figure it out you will wonder how you lived with out this, and once done put down the instrument and listen to any song or podcast etc through it.
