The Indian tennis player defeated the American Bradley Klahn 6-1, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 in order to advance to the 2nd round of the US open. Earlier in 2013, Somdev Devvarman had achieved the feat by winning the first round of the Australian Open, French Open and US Open. In a tweet, Nagal called the win a special moment and thanks his team and sponsors and the India cricket team caption Virat Kohli.
