I got this 1ozt Krugerrand gold coins in February 2019. It was part of a large set of Krugerrands. Of the lot, around 8 were non-genuine / counterfeit. I am calling them non-genuine rather than fake/counterfeit because they are made of the same exact alloy as the real ones. It is just that the minting quality is off. So is the color. That should not be there. Maybe that is why the color is off. Since I had several, I had them refined. The allow mix was just right and as it should be. I paid scrap value of 22K for them.
