CHIANG MAI'S BEST DAY TRIP | Exploring Wat Doi Suthep Temple | Chiang Mai, Thailand On our first day exploring Chiang Mai, we rented a scooter and headed up to the famous mountain top temple, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Doi Suthep is a beautiful temple set high on the Doi Suthep mountain and overlooks the city of Chiang Mai. After getting lost and stuck in a rainstorm we dried off while eating some delicious local food. On our way back down the mountain, we stopped at the lesser-known temple called Wat Pha Lat meaning “Hidden Temple”. This temple was secluded in greenery and was one of our favorite temples we have ever visited!
