I recently uploaded a micro-controller onto the Steam Workshop for a very basic Radio Detection and Ranging (RADAR) system. The system is fairly simple to setup and this video shows the entire process of building a platform and installing the system with all required components. I updated the system to include a target distance dial out to 1000m and an independent memory register for the number being sent to channel 1 of the instrument panel. You will need: 1. Platform or Vehicle 2. Battery/Power Supply 3. Velocity Pivot 4. 2x2 Monitor 5. Instrument Panel 6. RADAR antenna 7. RADAR Micro-Controller (From workshop) All of the devices require electrical power to run. Place the velocity pivot on the vehicle and flip it so that it rotates clockwise. Place the RADAR antenna on the velocity pivot. Place a battery on the vehicle. Add a 2x2 monitor and instrument panel to the vehicle. Be conscious about which way the arrow is pointing on the monitor. That will be "Forward" for the RADAR system. The instrument panel should have 3 things on it: a dial from 0 to 1000 on channel 1, an indicator light on channel 2 and a flip switch on channel 4. Connect the composite connectors between the micro-controller and the instrument panel. Connect the rotation angle (on the velocity pivot) to the micro-controller and the rotation speed (on the micro-controller) to the velocity pivot. Connect the target found signal and target distance signal (on RADAR) to the micro-controller. Connect the Field of View (FOV) output from the micro-controller to the RADAR. Connect the video output from the micro-controller to the monitor. Ensure all components are connected back to the battery and spawn the vehicle in.
