DJI 3D Focus System Sample Footage [Panasonic Lumix S1H + Sigma 50mm f/1.4] Autofocus on RS2!

Here's some quick sample 4K footage of the DJI 3D Focus System, shot on the Lumix S1H and Sigma 50mm f/1.4 L-Mount lens. Even though this lens doesn't have hard stops, I was able to calibrate the lens by physically holding the focus motor during set up. One thing you need to be aware of when using the 3D focus system with a Ronin compatible camera/electronic lens is that you don't accidentally trigger the electronic autofocus with the half-press of the shutter button as this will throw off the results and you'll need to recalibrate. I love the smooth transition during the focus pulls - it looks really cinematic and smooth - the only problem that I can see so far is the system only detects what is directly in front of it (and then slightly up a little) meaning that you'll have to practice your framing to get the best results.
