In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to fix the issues where some websites are not opening, and the message of “This site can’t be reached” is displayed. As you can see on my computer, my Google Chrome browser is open, and when I try to access a website, nothing happens, and the message of “This site can’t be reached” is displayed. To get started with fixing this issue: 1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Proxy Settings”, and click on the “Proxy Settings” search result. 2. When the Proxy Settings dialog window opens up, make sure that the manual proxy setup is turned off. 3. Now click on the “Save” button to save your changes. 4. Now if I go back to Google Chrome, and go to a website, the website now successfully loads. 5. The next step we can try with fixing the issue, is to go into the system tray, right click on the Wi-Fi symbol, and click on the “Open Network & Internet settings” 6. When the “Network & internet” dialog window opens up, scroll down the page, and click on the “Change Adapter Options” option, located underneath the “Advanced Network Settings” header. 7. A Network Connections dialog window will now display. 8. Right click on your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection, and click on the “Properties” option from the context menu. 9. A Wi-Fi properties dialog window will now display. 10. Scroll down, and click on the “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” item, and then click on the “properties” button. 11. A properties dialog window will now display. 12. Ensure that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” are both selected. 13. Now click on the “OK” button. 14. Now for the final step, go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Network Reset”, and click on the “Network Reset” search result. 15. A Network Reset dialog window will now display. 16. To reset your network, click on the “Reset now” button, and then restart your computer. 17. After following all of these steps, the “This site can’t be reached” issue should be resolved. And it’s as easy as that, fixing issues with some websites not opening is a simple task to perform. #internet #windows10 #chrome
