Syrian refugee children suffer from malnutrition, as do the women, the elderly—everyone is in misery. Day by day, the aid received by these war victims living at the Jordan-Syria border continues to decrease. This means less food for them to survive. After nearly 14 years of relentless conflict, Syria has finally gained independence on 8 December 2024. However, the war has left unimaginable devastation: over 14 million people displaced, homes reduced to rubble, and basic necessities like water and electricity destroyed. There is an urgent and continuous need to provide food and hot meals for iftar for them to survive. You can help provide some security this Ramadan for Syrian refugee families to have food on their empty plates. The war may have ended, but their struggles continue. To thousands, returning home is not an option.
