This is a demo we did with the new 2000 XR IPG LightWELD system. We just got one earlier this week and these are actually the 1st welds we did with it. Amazing how easy it welds aluminum. The 2000 XR also has widened out the wobble adjustments to 100 % of the factory presets so this is easier to change to catch outside corners. Maximum depth of penetration on SS, Steel, and Aluminum is .315 or 5/16th - no bevel needed - full penetration. Fusion welding, wire welding, spot welding, and laser cleaning are all standard modes of welding or cleaning with the IPG LightWELD 2000 XR.
