Digital Village Project - SOS Children's Villages Philippines

The Digital Village Project was launched in 2017 as part of SOS Children's Villages Philippines' efforts to “create a simpler, agile and digital organization.” This project which is now on its second year, aims to establish ICT infrastructure access, build the technical skills of the SOS mothers for them to cope with changing times, and for the SOS children to gain advance digital literacy in this fast paced world driven by technology. The Digital Village Project is still ongoing in two pilot Children’s Villages in the Philippines, CV Lipa and CV Davao with about 120 beneficiaries. Now, there are still six Children’s Villages in the Philippines that have limited access to information and community technology tools.
