Approximately 630 kilometres north of Brisbane, Rockhampton, also known as Rocky, a town established during the gold boom, offers views from Mt Archer, with walks to other viewing platforms. Rocky is proud of it’s status as the Beef Capital of Australia, and have a few bull statues s around the town, representing top breeds of Queensland’s bulls.
