One main reason for a slow startup in Windows can be, there are many programs and services that run at the startup time. We can disable the unnecessary programs from startup and this will help to load fast Windows. Let’s see the steps to identify what startup programs are safe to disable. 1. Click on the Windows search bar at the bottom left. 2. Type msconfig in the search bar. 3. Click on the System Configuration app from the search result. 4. In the System Configuration windows, click on the Startup tab. 5. Click on the Open Task Manager link. 6. This will open the Task Manager window. 7. There is another easy way to open the Task Manager. Let’s see the steps. 8. Close all these opened windows. 9. Right-click on the Taskbar at the bottom. 10. Click on the Task Manager menu from the drop-down menu list. 11. This will open the Task Manager window. 12. Click on the Startup tab. 13. You will find the list of running startup programs. 14. Right-click on any program that you don’t want to load at the time Windows start. 15. Click on Properties. 16. In the General tab, note down the type of file. Later you can disable this program in the startup tab of Task Manager. 17. Similarly, you can check and identify the other programs and can disable those. 18.
