Jack & Ruth heard their Savior calling them to Gospel ministry & dedicated their entire lives to spreading the words of salvation through the shortwave radio program "The Voice of the Andes" in Ecuador. Jack was Ukrainian & Ruth was Belorussian & they met & fell in love at a Evangelical Youth Conference in the USA. Jack wanted to minister to the English-speaking population, but Ruth was more visionary & convinced him that they should serve the Slavic people who were being deprived of the Gospel by the atheistic communist regime. They encountered many difficulties throughout their lives but hundreds of thousands of souls were saved through their humble ministry. Praise the Lord for Christians like Jack & Ruth who sacrificed their entire lives to share the love of God to the Slavic nations during the cold war.
