This principle elevated my animations tenfold once I understood the power of the technique and also when, and, how to apply it to my own work. The principle I'm talking about is Anticipation or Antics as it's known in the industry. It’s one of the 12 core principles of animation and to better understand this, I've demonstrated two different scenarios in this video so you can see the difference. We will follow this up with another example showing how crucial anticipation is to mastering motion and why it is the guiding force behind almost all main actions!
