Custom Sewing: How I Make Simple Covers Only From Measurements

Hi! In this video, I show a method I use to sew custom covers for audio equipment only from measurements provided by the customer. In an ideal situation, you can test the fit as you go, but that isn't always possible. Knowing how to have what you're sewing come out to the exact size you need is key. Note: these covers are being sent to a customer 3,000 miles away from me. If you decide to take on a project like this, it is imperative that you and the end user have clear communication about what measurements are being taken, and whether you need to add "ease" into the cover. In my case, the customer added a little to the actual measurements of his items to allow for covers that will fit well, but be easy to install and remove.
