I will show you the differences and similarities between them. Subcompact and Compact are a classification of cars. When we classify cars compact and subcompact, we consider 2 factors. 1. Cargo Space 2. Passenger Space Subcompact cars are vehicles with an 85-99 combined cubic feet volume between their passenger and cargo areas. Compact cars are vehicles with a 100-109 combined cubic feet volume between their passenger and cargo areas. Subcompact cars don't provide much space for cargo or passengers, while compact cars provide a little more. A compact car has a little less space inside the vehicle as opposed to a mid-size sedan.
