2022 XC - CIF-ss FINALS - 03 (Div 4, Boys)

This is the full course view of the Division 4 Boys CIF Southern Section cross country championship race held on November 19, 2022 at the Mt. SAC cross country course (2.93 miles). Division 4 are smaller (enrollment) schools. Southern Section came into this race with the top 5 ranked Division 4 teams in California. St. Francis certainly lived up to the hype with all 5 of their scorers in the top 30 and taking the D4 crown by 17 over Palos Verdes. Southern Section nearly lived up to those rankings the following Saturday at State. The section took 4 of the top 5 spots with St. Francis besting Cathedral by 21. Cathedral was certainly tough with Perez and Hernandez going 1-5 at State. In this one, they set the pace and finish 1-9. Both juniors. BTW - Perez made NXN. A shout out to Ben Hughes of San Marino who took 4th at State.
